Sometimes your Inner Guidance gives you a message that doesn't make logical sense. Will you follow that intuition anyway? Will you trust it? Will you walk out and expect the path to appear under your feet?
Creativity happens in those moments when our thoughts and ideas defy logic and reason. The right side of the brain is working and we don't always have the language that would allow us to understand that process. We just gotta DO it!
Watch this video Click Here To Watch It's called Paper Airplane and will inspire you! (You can also visit http://www.simpletruths.com/ to buy the book.)
After watching it, ask yourself, where in your life you could be that courageous and creative. Where are you being called to trust the creative process? And then ask yourself if you are actually willing to take that inspired action. It will make all the difference.
Wishing you an abundance of inspired moments and the courage to act on them!

What's more down to earth than your body?
One of the first things to look at when aiming for down to earth spirituality is how you view and experience your emotions. I have worked with clients who have had a difficult time emotionally because they held a belief that they didn’t belong here on earth. Is this you? Do you feel alien? Like it’s a mistake that you are here? That you were born? That you are in a body?
If you answered 'yes' to any of these questions, acceptance of your decision…yes, YOUR decision to come to Earth is the first step you’ll need to take in coming down to earth, spiritually speaking.
It’s no fun being a space cowgirl or cowboy. If you’re not inhabiting your body fully, then you are missing the point of being here. If being space was your intention, then there would have been no reason to come to Earth. But here you are, and come, you did.
So, perhaps it’s time to embrace, as Zorba the Greek called it, ‘the full catastrophe’. Now, I don’t think it’s a catastrophe, but life can sure throw us curve balls, and depending on how much we resist what is, it can feel like catastrophe. That’s for sure!
Inhabiting your body means you get to experience life on a physical level, and feel your emotions too. Emotions are experienced in the body. And if you’re hovering somewhere above your body, you can’t let the emotions flow through you the way they’re supposed to, naturally. They’re supposed to do this: begin, rise, peak, fall, diminish, and be over with. But not being in your body, keeps them in a sort of suspension. Which means you keep feeling them over time, long after they should have dissipated---and that generally doesn't feel that good.
If you feel I’m talking about you, try this: take a deep breath and as you exhale, feel your awareness, your energy, plop down into your pelvic area from above your head, kind of like a ball someone let go of and gravity took over. Feel the weight of your energy in your pelvic region. This is what grounds you and allows you to be connected to Earth energies, which are actually pretty darn sweet energies, if you ask me.
Once you decide to be present in your body, you will experience your emotional life differently. Your emotions will become one of the ways your experience your human aliveness. Your human richness. Your human tapestry of life.
More on this tomorrow, but in the meantime, keep taking those breaths and exhaling as you allow your energy to drop right down into your pelvis. Your body has been waiting for you……
Wishing you love, peace and all the joy your heart can hold.

Reduce suffering, increase joy....
You know, the whole purpose and point of my work is just what that headline says. I’m human, just like the rest of you, and I find myself suffering sometimes, and needing to head back to my joy.
You’ve heard the old saying, “Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.” That’s so true.
My job, the one I’ve chose for this lifetime, is to learn how, and then teach others how to stop choosing suffering. Now, in order to stop choosing suffering, you’ve got to admit that you’re choosing it in the first place. And often, that’s the biggest hurdle to overcome.
You’d love to blame someone or something for your suffering, and then insist that they, or it needs to change for you to be able to stop suffering. That doesn’t usually work out so well, does it?
Taking 100% responsibility for your suffering is what I refer to as spiritual maturity. It’s kind of like when you grow up and take responsibility for your finances—you know, making money, spending money, paying bills, budgeting for vacation, etc. It takes some of us longer than others to stop sitting around waiting for the world to change and throw money at our feet. :) But when we finally do, then we are empowered to change things for ourselves, to our liking.
Same thing with emotional and spiritual suffering. When you finally get that you are the one choosing it, then you can begin to choose to let it go. At first you might only choose to let it go for a moment before you take it back. But once you begin that process, it’s pretty hard to go back to blaming everyone and everything else without conscious awareness. And once you're aware.....
Now for every moment, every nanosecond you choose to release suffering, you create an opening to experience the joy that always is in you. Always. And once you get that pattern going, that becomes so attractive, and it pulls you more and more toward the joy and away from the suffering.
My coaching business is named Everyday Joy because your joy is not extraordinary. It’s you. It’s who you are. It’s there waiting for you in every simple NOW moment of every minute of every hour of every day. It’s waiting for you in your car, on your walk, at your kitchen table, in the shower, in your back yard, on your couch, at your friend’s house, at the grocery store….you got the picture, right? Because it's IN YOU.
So, just for right, now take responsibility for reducing your suffering---no matter what it is about--- and increasing your joy….. just in this NOW moment.
And if you want my help with this, contact me and we’ll partner our energies to increase your Everyday Joy!
Wishing you all that you dream of,
